Reading this article prompted me to test it out on my Wii.

Here is what I liked (some that the article also mentioned):
1. You can save your favorites. That way you only type them in once. Saving them is easy.
2. The tool bar can be toogled in several different ways. (Change under settings)
3. It was fast enough.
4. When you are entering a password it puts astricks for you. No one will scam it.

As far as using the Wii for all your surfing, I don’t think it would be a replacement. Some ideas on how it would come in handy:
1. You don’t have an SD card, you already have uploaded your pictures for family far away to view, and you want to show them on the big screen for those who are visiting.
2. You find a funny youtube.com video to share with your friends. Much easier to gather around the TV instead of a computer monitor.
3. Your “discussing” with someone and need to search for the “facts”. So easy to turn on the Wii and Google it from the comfort of your couch.
4. I still need to test it out, but I wonder if online java games would work? Or the kids sites so that I can keep the kids of my computer?

It is free to download until June, so get it now!
