Nintendo has just announced a new Wii Peripheral. It is a step-pad type device which allows you to stand, sit, do push-ups, and other aerobic exercises such as jump-roping alongside a new title, Wii Fit. The game will monitor your health rating, and provide many mini games to get your fat butt in shape.

Activision and RedOctane have finally unveiled the Wii’s Guitar Hero 3 controller. Like the one for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, it’s based on the Gibson Les Paul shape, with a removable solid white faceplate.

Last week the Wii sold 70k in Japan 93k in USA, and 64k in Others, for a total of 227k. Xbox360 sold 3k in Japan, 44k in America, 22k in Others for a total of 69k in a week. 227k-69k=159k so it should take about 8 more weeks for Wii to pass Xbox360 at the [...]
It looks like Metroid Prime 3 will lack that online functionality featured in the last Metroid adventure on DS. Oh, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl won’t be playable at E3. On the plus side, Shacknews has compiled a gallery of every single Smash Bros. Brawl screen out there, including new today’s new shots.
